The Master of Tai Chi (Traditional Chinese: 太極) is a TVB period action series broadcasted in 2008. The series is TVB's first high-definition series that was ever produced. It was filmed in early 2006 and aired in Februari-Mac 2008. Filming locations include Shanghai, as well as Kunming and Jianshui County in Yunnan province.This is TVB's custom-made series for kung-fu icon Vincent Zhao, and it is also his first ever series in the Hong Kong market. At the request of Vincent Zhao, the main character's name has been changed from 'Wen Zhiu' to 'Mo Ma,' and John Chiang will play Vincent Zhao's father in the series.
