Lapangan akademik beliau banyak memberi fokus tentang Imam Al-Shatibi yang tertumpu pada Usul Fiqh dan maqasid syariah. Karya beliau banyak diterjemahkan kepada beberapa bahasa termasuklah Bahasa Inggeris, Parsi, Urdu, Bosnia dan Bahasa Melayu.
